Professional biography: Trained as an office administrator. Joined the Rummelsberger Brüderschaft in 1980. Trained as a deacon; studied social pedagogy/social work; trained in Gestalt counseling (Fritz Perls Institute) and mediation (ISKA); many years of professional and management experience in child and youth welfare. From 2001-2010 Head of Department / Managing Director of Rummelsberger Dienste f. junge Menschen; from 1999 to 2022 Chairman of the Program Commission of ConSozial; since 2013 Head of the Department of Vocational Schools and Study Courses for Social Professions at Rummelsberger Diakonie; Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Evangelical School Foundation in Bavaria.
