European online conference for Waldorf School Leaders<\/em><\/h2><p data-sourcepos=\"3:1-3:131\">Waldorf education,\u00a0with its emphasis on child development and artistic integration,\u00a0thrives under high-quality leadership.\u00a0How this manifests in practice varies greatly from school to school and from country to country.\u00a0And how to achieve this high level is also a challenge for many.\u00a0The Waldorfschool Leadership Development (WLD) project,\u00a0a two-year initiative funded by Erasmus+ of the European Union,\u00a0addressed this crucial issue with a unique approach.<\/p><p data-sourcepos=\"5:1-5:178\">The WLD project brought together eight Waldorf schools from eight European countries.\u00a0Eight consultants,\u00a0also from eight countries,\u00a0guided these schools.\u00a0United by a common goal,\u00a0these schools embarked on an action research project to promote leadership development.\u00a0Problems were explored and deepened,\u00a0and experiments were cautiously carried out with other forms and behaviors.\u00a0Regularly,\u00a0participants in this international network came together online to discuss progress,\u00a0obstacles,\u00a0and successes.<\/p><p data-sourcepos=\"7:1-7:210\">In this way,\u00a0an European network of school leaders was also built.\u00a0Building a strong community of school leaders across borders is an important goal,\u00a0ensuring continuous learning opportunities and collaboration.<\/p><p data-sourcepos=\"9:1-9:74\">The WLD project is full of activities designed to achieve its goals.\u00a0Here\u2019s a glimpse into the project\u2019s dynamic landscape:<\/p><ul data-sourcepos=\"11:1-22:0\"><li data-sourcepos=\"11:1-12:0\"><p data-sourcepos=\"11:3-11:125\"><strong>Action Research:<\/strong>\u00a0Schools conduct research projects to understand the impact of leadership styles on their institutions.<\/p><\/li><li data-sourcepos=\"13:1-14:0\"><p data-sourcepos=\"13:3-13:143\"><strong>Professional Learning Community:<\/strong>\u00a0A space is created where school leaders can share experiences,\u00a0learn from each other,\u00a0and grow together.<\/p><\/li><li data-sourcepos=\"15:1-16:0\"><p data-sourcepos=\"15:3-15:123\"><strong>Online Platform:<\/strong>\u00a0A digital hub was developed to foster ongoing communication and resource sharing within the network.<\/p><\/li><li data-sourcepos=\"17:1-18:0\"><p data-sourcepos=\"17:3-17:136\"><strong>Course Materials and Workshops:<\/strong>\u00a0Practical tools and workshops provide leaders with the necessary skills for horizontal leadership.<\/p><\/li><li data-sourcepos=\"19:1-20:0\"><p data-sourcepos=\"19:3-19:152\"><strong>Masterclass in Leadership:<\/strong>\u00a0A high-quality program offers an in-depth exploration of leadership in the international context of the Waldorf school.<\/p><\/li><li data-sourcepos=\"21:1-22:0\"><p data-sourcepos=\"21:3-21:89\"><strong>Publications:<\/strong>\u00a0Publications on this theme are collected in a growing online library.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-sourcepos=\"23:1-23:368\">Curious to
